My “baby” turned 11. This birthday was a bit different. As I was observing the kids at my daughter’s birthday party, I was wowed to recognize how much they’ve changed in just few months.
The way they play, eat and present themselves.
She changes too, starting to become like a little teenager. She observes the changes on herself too, which she doesn’t always like. But change and making changes is not comfortable, but this helps us move forward, so it’s all good.
We’d like to have things and plans predictable, but we often realize things don’t always go the way we imagined.
When we were trying to conceive for years, there was a point, where we couldn’t go on without changing. To look behind things. To ask for help.
For example I was eating mostly healthy for a while, yet when I turned to a homeopath, I had to realize there are things to improve in the area, in order for my body to be more recipient space for conception. Getting sugar out of my diet was the biggest challenge for me.
There are lot of things we can’t influence or they turn out differently. And since the turnout is mostly unknown, it can raise fear in us.
Sometimes it’s a good idea to adjust the plans and make it less concrete. We can give space like this for better turnouts.
If you’d like to change or you are in a changing situation you could follow this flow:
- watch your feelings – especially the most painful ones, as this will fuel the change 🙂
- line up the possibilities
- look at what you could change
- loosen control and let yourself be surprised 🙂
Which one of these is the most challenging for you? Hit reply and let me know!
Love,
Andrea
